If anyone is curious, there is an updated version of the R code here: http://pastebin.com/fsDng9Uz I realized late that going by name wasn’t good enough (for instance, there were two Bob Gibsons) so I had to work with playerID.

Yep, it’s B-Ref, simply because I was able to figure out how to get their data. Man, do they love Walter Johnson over there.
