Yes, enjoyed watching him the WBC this year. If I remember correctly, he didn’t wear batting gloves, either. Very old school.

Shouldn’t it be “puerco frito”? Also, Ropa Vieja is the best.

And yes, ropa vieja would have been the next food example I used in the piece.

Well it says “Macitas de puerco fritas”, so I think in this case “fritas” is describing “macitas” (what does macitas mean anyway? I’m guessing chunks), which would explain the feminine plural. But if it was just fried pork I think it would be “puerco frito”. :Þ

Also, is Versailles any good? I pass by it all the time but I’ve never tried it!
